An Endless Cycle?
The book begins with a stark examination of the October 7, 2023 Black Saturday massacre, placing it within the broader historical context of continuous conflict and global terrorism. It questions whether this is just another phase in an endless cycle or if there is a principled approach to ending the violence and achieving lasting peace in the Middle East.

Simplistic Solutions for Peace
Critically assessing seemingly kinder options, the book explains why ceasefires, international mediation, and land-for-peace negotiations often fail. Through both theoretical and historical lenses, these chapters expose the limitations of these approaches in the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Effective Military Solutions
Advocating for decisive military action, the Rebbe's teachings emphasize the need for credible deterrence, proactive defense, and the necessity of fully neutralizing threats. This section argues that assertive military strategies, while appearing hawkish, ultimately minimize violence and restore stability in Israel and the broader Middle East.

The Soul of the Struggle
Delving into the ideological roots of the conflict, the book explores the Jewish people's Torah-based claim to the Land of Israel. It addresses misconceptions and emphasizes the critical importance of ideological strength, robust Torah education, and widespread mitzvah observance, providing a unique perspective on the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Pragmatic Policy and Governance
The final part tackles practical policy questions, discussing the importance of maintaining security, cultivating international relationships (especially between the US and Israel), encouraging Jewish settlements, and addressing domestic terrorism. It underscores the significance of Jewish unity as a deterrent against attacks and as a means of garnering global support for Israel's cause, with practical strategies for governance in contentious areas.

Make Peace is more than just a book; it is a comprehensive guide offering real-world solutions grounded in Jewish tradition and realpolitik. It provides a simple guide to understanding the complex issues facing Israel today, rooted in a profound history of Israel and Jewish thought. Whether you are a policymaker, a scholar, or someone deeply interested in Middle Eastern politics, US-Israel relations, and the future of Israel, this book provides essential insights and actionable strategies for creating a lasting peace in the most misunderstood country on earth.

"Politicians, diplomats, generals, and talking heads have been proposing solutions for reaching a lasting peace between Israel and her neighbors for decades without success. It is time for a different kind of approach. Elisha Pearl presents a new vision compiled from the extensive teachings of Rabbi Schneerson, based on the ageless wisdom of the Torah and the Rebbe's own deep love and respect for all humanity. The Jewish people's timeless connection to the Land of Israel is shown to be indisputable. Solid arguments are made as to why we must avoid the simplistic solutions espoused in sound-bite slogans and strive for a truly just understanding that will uphold the rights and dignity of all people. Copies of Make Peace are being distributed to lawmakers and influencers throughout the West. It is now time to put the ideas into action."

From the Back Cover
For over half a century, world leaders have pursued peace in the Middle East, investing billions of dollars and immeasurable effort. Despite this, Israel's security and regional stability remain
precarious.

Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, was one of the twentieth century's most influential Jewish leaders. The Rebbe proposed a visionary approach to lasting peace in the Land of Israel, rooted in the Torah's wisdom and a profound understanding of geopolitical realities.
Since the 1950s, Israel's political and military leaders sought the Rebbe's counsel and blessing, and many continue to draw inspiration from his teachings today. Through his extensive correspondence with Israeli leadership and public talks, the Rebbe passionately advocated for a principled path to resolving the conflict.

"Make Peace" presents the Rebbe's timeless vision for Israel's security in a clear and accessible manner, distilling thousands of pages of his commentary into a systematic guide. By contextualizing the Rebbe's insights within the framework of military strategy and Israel's history, this book offers a compelling and practical approach to resolving the seemingly intractable conflict and fostering true, lasting peace.
